1. Introduction

DripClip is a mobile-first application that turns long-form videos into short vertical clips with captions and branding, and publishes those clips to social accounts that you connect. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and store it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and how you can disconnect, revoke access, or delete your data. It applies to https://dripclip.agiledevelopers.net and to the DripClip mobile applications and publishing services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

Name, email address, sign-in credentials or social sign-in identifiers, and basic profile information you provide.

Uploaded Media

Source videos, images, subtitle files, and branding assets you upload for processing, along with the clips, captions, and overlays generated from them.

Connected Social Accounts

Authorization tokens, account handles, channel or profile identifiers, and publishing IDs for the platforms you choose to connect (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

Google and YouTube Data

When you connect a Google/YouTube account, DripClip accesses only the information below, based on the permissions (OAuth scopes) you authorize. DripClip does not request access to unrelated Google services.

  • Your Google account name.
  • Your Google email address.
  • Your Google profile picture.
  • Your YouTube channel ID.
  • Your YouTube channel name.
  • Your YouTube channel thumbnail.
  • Video ID for videos DripClip uploads or manages on your behalf.
  • Video title.
  • Video description.
  • Video tags and related metadata.
  • Video privacy setting.
  • Video publishing status.
  • Permitted YouTube performance/analytics information for videos published through DripClip.
  • OAuth access tokens.
  • OAuth refresh tokens.

Usage and Performance Data

Application interaction metrics, processing and publishing status, diagnostic logs, and error reports used to operate and improve the service.

3. How We Use Information

  • Processing and rendering: converting horizontal videos into vertical clips, generating captions, and applying brand overlays.
  • Scheduling and publishing: publishing clips you approve to the accounts you connected, at the times you choose.
  • Status and analytics: showing publishing status and the performance information the platforms make available to us.
  • Account operation and support: authentication, service notifications, security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

DripClip uses automated and AI-assisted processing (for example, speech-to-text captioning and clip selection) on media you upload directly in order to produce the outputs you request. Google user data obtained through Google APIs is not provided to those AI processing systems.

4. How Google and YouTube User Data Is Used

DripClip uses Google APIs and YouTube API Services only to provide functionality you explicitly request:

  • Connecting your YouTube account through Google OAuth.
  • Identifying the YouTube channel you selected as the publishing destination.
  • Uploading and publishing videos you approve to your channel.
  • Managing scheduled publishing you initiate.
  • Retrieving permitted channel and video information to display in the app.
  • Retrieving permitted performance and analytics information for videos published through DripClip.
  • Displaying YouTube performance information in the DripClip application.
  • Maintaining the OAuth authorization required to keep the integration active.

Analytics and performance information for videos published through DripClip is retrieved periodically — approximately every two hours — to update the performance information shown in your account. Analytics are not retrieved in real time.

DripClip's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not:

  • Sell Google user data.
  • Provide Google user data to data brokers or information resellers.
  • Use Google user data for targeted, personalized, or retargeted advertising, or to create advertising profiles.
  • Send Google user data obtained through Google APIs to AI/LLM services.
  • Use Google user data obtained through Google APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Human Access

Access to Google user data by DripClip personnel is restricted to authorized personnel who require access for operating, securing, troubleshooting, or supporting the service, or where required by law. Such access is subject to appropriate access controls and confidentiality obligations.

5. Google Cloud Platform (Infrastructure Provider)

DripClip's backend infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Google Cloud services are used to operate the backend, store uploaded and generated media, store application data and authorized OAuth credentials, and provide infrastructure services such as logging and monitoring. Google Cloud may therefore process user data, including Google/YouTube data, as an infrastructure provider acting on behalf of DripClip.

Google Cloud Storage

Used to store uploaded source videos and generated/rendered video files.

GCP Database

Used to store application account information, publishing information, YouTube/Google account identifiers associated with connected accounts, relevant YouTube/video metadata, and analytics/history required by the application.

OAuth Credential Storage

Used to store OAuth access tokens and OAuth refresh tokens. These are used only to maintain the integrations authorized by you.

Logging and Monitoring

Google Cloud logging and monitoring may be used as part of backend operations to keep the service reliable and secure.

Google Cloud processes this data as our infrastructure provider, not for its own advertising or marketing purposes.

6. How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Information

Google User Data

DripClip does not sell Google user data. Google/YouTube data may be processed by service providers that operate infrastructure on behalf of DripClip when necessary to provide the requested service. This includes Google Cloud Platform infrastructure used to host the backend, store application data and media, store authorized OAuth credentials, and operate related infrastructure services.

These service providers process data only as necessary to provide infrastructure and services to DripClip and are not authorized to use Google user data for their own advertising, data brokerage, or unrelated commercial purposes.

User-Authorized YouTube Sharing

When you connect a YouTube account and request publishing, DripClip transfers the video content and associated metadata necessary to publish the approved video to your YouTube channel. DripClip also retrieves permitted channel, video, and performance information from YouTube to provide the requested publishing and analytics functionality.

Other User-Authorized Social Platforms

Instagram, Facebook (Meta), and TikTok receive information only when you connect the relevant account and request publishing, scheduling, or analytics functionality:

  • Instagram and Facebook (Meta) — authorized Reels and posts are published and basic post performance metrics retrieved. We do not sell or share Meta user data.
  • TikTok — authorized videos are published to your connected profile.

Legal and Safety

We may disclose information where required by law, legal process, or a governmental request, or where necessary to investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of our users and our service.

No Sale of Data

We do not sell your personal information or Google user data.

7. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Where Data Is Stored

Account records and publishing metadata are stored in a GCP-managed database. Uploaded source videos and rendered clips are stored in Google Cloud Storage. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored in access-restricted storage on the same infrastructure and are used only to maintain the integrations you authorized.

Security

We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and use the security controls of GCP storage and database services where applicable. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel, OAuth credentials are access-restricted, and production infrastructure is protected using appropriate authentication and authorization controls.

Retention

  • Account information — retained while your DripClip account remains active, unless deletion is requested or another legitimate or legal retention requirement applies.
  • Uploaded videos and generated clips — retained according to the application's storage and account lifecycle requirements.
  • Google/YouTube data — retained while required to provide the connected YouTube integration and related functionality.
  • OAuth tokens — deleted when you disconnect the YouTube account, when you revoke the authorization and the application processes the revocation, or when you delete your DripClip account.
  • Google/YouTube account identifiers — stored while the YouTube integration is active and deleted when the connected account is removed, subject to limited retention required for legitimate security, legal, or operational purposes.
  • Analytics/history — retained as necessary to provide publishing history and performance information within your DripClip account.

8. Your Privacy Rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your account details.
  • Disconnect any connected social channel at any time.
  • Request a full deletion of your account data and uploaded assets.
  • Contact us with questions or complaints about how your data is handled.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account through the DripClip application, or by submitting a request on our Data Deletion page. That page explains each available method and what is removed.

When your account is deleted:

  • Application account data is deleted according to our deletion implementation.
  • Uploaded media is deleted according to our deletion implementation.
  • Stored OAuth tokens are deleted.
  • Stored Google/YouTube account identifiers are deleted.
  • Connected-account information is removed.

We process account and data deletion requests according to our operational deletion procedures. Some information may be retained where required by law or where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or other legitimate operational purposes.

Deleting a DripClip account does not delete videos already published to your YouTube channel. Those videos remain under your YouTube account and must be managed or deleted through YouTube.

10. Disconnecting YouTube and Revoking Google Authorization

When you disconnect your YouTube account from DripClip, DripClip stops making API requests using that authorization and deletes the stored OAuth tokens and associated Google/YouTube account identifiers used for the connection. Videos already published to YouTube remain on your YouTube channel unless you separately delete them through YouTube.

You can also revoke DripClip's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Revocation prevents future authorized API requests, and scheduled YouTube publishing relying on that authorization will stop. DripClip will process the revoked connection according to the same disconnection and data-deletion process described above.
